By using NEX — including our website and the NEX desktop application for Windows and Linux (collectively, the “Service”) — you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Promotional Policy for marketing communications.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or upload malicious content.

Accounts

You are responsible for your credentials. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Desktop application

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the NEX desktop application on devices you control, for use with the Service and in accordance with these terms. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or tamper with the application except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.

Automatic updates

The desktop application may automatically check for, download, and install updates to keep you on a supported and secure version. By using the application you consent to these automatic updates.

Usage data & notifications

The desktop application sends limited usage and version information so we can operate, secure, and improve it, and may display informational and promotional notifications. What we collect and how to control telemetry and notifications is described in our Privacy Policy. You can disable telemetry, turn off notifications, and reset your anonymous install identifier in the application’s settings.

Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
